One more doom and gloom post. I joined a book club at work and was very excited because I've always wanted to be in one. My fucking work nemesis has also joined because of course she has.
Also her suggestion of book is basically the only genre I'm not interested in.

The festival we go to every year has been cancelled and I'm very sad about it

That's definitely part of it because I've flagged her behaviour and how it makes me feel many times and he always downplays it. I think because he doesn't want to have to deal with an unpleasant situation. He's great but I need someone who has my back.

I feel like another woman would have spotted it right away.

My boss is male and he's from New Zealand. He's is super laid back and that's been great and we've always got on well and worked together brilliantly. The only problem is, there is a woman from a team we work closely with and she is so sly and always undermines me and he just doesn't see it.
