yeah! I like to save my mog of the ages and have a creature motif ready to use before starry sky is off cooldown. You should generally get a whole subtractive palette combo in, and a hammer combo. You do get three big damage one-offs at lv90, 92, and 100 that you want to prioritize over hammer tho.

I knowww right? Its so fun.
Motifs basically come down to:

Cast them a bit beforehand when you don't need to move for mechanics to make sure you're using the motif abilities the moment they go off cooldown, its still a damage gain despite the long cast! Plus, hammer can be used as movement
