Literally drooling over here

Ooh I got the A24 DVD for that, what an amazing show!
It's after work on Friday. Walk your dog. Have a drink, smoke a little weed, listen to a Spotify playlist "Classic Rock" too loud but still thoughtful to neighbors. Wear sandals with socks. Have pasta for dinner. Transcend. Embody the final form of the divorced middle aged white man.
I enjoy this series.
If you have any interest in improv or experimental comedy, you need to watch Jury Duty. It is breathtaking what they pull off.
I'm reminded of when we used to pretend young people could still afford homes, and you'd see all kinds of articles like "how this Millenial bought their home," and there was always some little thing tucked in there about a five-figure loan from the parents...
Is it a real midlife crisis if you've always been childish and irresponsible?
Re-watching Malcolm In the Middle before the miniseries comes out. I'd forgotten that They Might Be Giants did the theme song... and a bunch of incidental music, too!
Me too. I'm too wordy for text limits. ๐
Oh wow, I forgot about this! I remember the trailer catching my eye. Thanks for the recommendation.
Though somehow I've never seen 12 Monkeys... I should rectify that.
I assumed this is why many of them, throughout history, have spent so much money on propaganda of their own.
If these bootlicking toadies had been around in the 1780's, they'd for sure have been like "Make America Great Britain Again."
I feel I should warn you then, I tried Bird Gang rum (I don't know if it's PA or just branded), and it is the worst rum I've ever drank. I'm saying this as someone who has literally tried hundreds of rums.
ah the joy of dogs
Total digression, but I can't get over the dog's face in that picture.
Post-Epstein, I guess it shouldn't surprise me that the guy who sang "Half Your Age" is a conservative music darling.
I thought about the lunchbox, but I'm trying to tone down the collectibles I'm hauling through life. I ended up getting the "Ashtray Maze" ashtray though!
I haven't given my new wifi a custom name because somebody in my building is "MILF City Wifi" and I feel obligated to match their energy

"Anyone spouting that friends are a liability because they get in the way of your plans to conquer the world is a weird idiot. Do you know why people try to conquer the world? Because they don't have any friends."
Funny, I just saw this:
I'm sure you've read about lawyers using A.I.-generated briefs that they clearly didn't proof, since they cite non-existent cases. But I expect lawyers to be scumbags.
Catching up on TV. Andor season 2: feels eerily prescient. Watson: goofy but the most authentically I've seen Pittsburgh represented onscreen.
Playstation raising hardware prices. First time ever a video game console has gone UP in price...?
Make of that what you will.
Living the dream. Thursday I saw the Polkamaniacs at Golden Age. Friday was Ron Funches doing stand up at Bottlerocket. Saturday, Barrel & Flow, best and coolest beer fest in Pittsburgh. Sunday, floating for hours on the Yough. I'm really beat now, but what fun.
Is she going to Dad's alma mater? Hope she likes it here. Obviously, I do!
I don't post here often, and usually not about politics, because you all know me. But for the record: fuck Trump, man. Even putting ethics aside, it's amazing how much he's been able to damage our economy in such a short time.
Working from home means I put in more hours but feel happier about doing it because I'm saving so much time. Commutes, dressing up, prepping meals... I know not every job can be done remotely, but I'm lucky to have management that realizes it's a win/win for some jobs.
beep boop listen to more electronic music
Glad you can keep a sense of humor about it. Doing one every few years sucks but is bearable. Three in a month would make me feel like a walking hose.
