He's not a very good politician or PM but he's certainly not the same as those clown car passengers.

At some point there will be a PMQs where Badenoch asks the Speaker to give her a few moments while she waits for @BillyBunchanumbers1966 on X to tell her what question to ask next.

People in the UAE now want to get rid of the American military bases on their territory. The timing is not coincidental now that Ukraine has signed 10 year defense agreements with the Gulf states.

You don't need a brain to learn?

This could mean there's still hope for 30p Lee and the rest of Reform...

Despite their love of living in the past, museums are like kryptonite for Reform drones so they never visit them because they do something they hate - inform and educate.

I know they like living in the past, but museums are like kryptonite to Reform supporters because a primary aim of these institutions is to educate and inform visitors.

It's very Temu Trumpian.
Let's be honest, the number of Reform supporters who know what museums do, let alone actually visit one, can be counted on the fingers of one hand.

Reform to tell Welsh museums how to present history, manifesto says Election pledges say Reform would ask museums to present history chronologically.

How tediously Trumpian. 🙄

A picture of a rather dilapidated copy of "The picture of Dorian Gray" There is visible water damage to the cover and the plastic cover is yellowing. Obviously, not evident from the picture but there is a truly foul musty smell emanating from it!

Last week, a gentleman returned this rather dilapidated copy of this famous book to us after 50 years. He had found it in his attic!
Presumably this means there is a pristine copy somewhere in our libraries....

If the past really is a foreign country I’m surprised so many right-wingers want to live there.

Plod's fault, specifically the Met Police Protection Command's fault.

Always handy to remember:
Thatcher doubled the debt in 10 years.
Major doubled it again in 7 years.
Labour were starting to pay it down until the financial crash required bank bailouts etc.
Cameron & Osborne borrowed more in 6 years than the combined borrowing of every single Labour government.

Not much political judgement going on here if Isabel Oakeshott does not realise that Farage & Tice are senior members of the British establishment. Relevant here is that Oakeshott is the partner of Richard Tice jumping to the defence of Tice & his tax evasion.

As many in the know have said, there is no vetting process for Ministers, as bonkers as that sounds.
However, knowing full well he was a risk, the security services made sure to be very careful not to share too much sensitive material with him.

Too scared that they will lose their precious access to Trump and his cult.

Can't help thinking all of this could have been avoided if No.10 simply said at the beginning - "Mandy's going to Washington because in order to effectively deal with a slimy scumbag you need to send your own slimy scumbag."

Writing "attempting to demolish" is spin, it isn't neutral language good journalists use to report rather than opine.
The Grauniad has fallen far.
