You can vibe code your way to a working prototype. You cannot vibe code or one-shot your way to a competitive product that works at scale. The hard part isn't writing code; it's the architectural supervision.
ICE are running around in the streets using facial recognition on random people and telling anyone filming them they're a domestic terrorist and Democrats solution is to equip every ICE agent with their very own body-worn surveillance camera
This government clearly don't really understand the complexity or the danger of the situation. They show no sign of beginning to understand, and every sign of asking the monorail salesman how public transport should work. It's going to be an uphill struggle, but don't leave this to politicians.

I will say there was a year where there a was questionable featured speaker at the evening part and his talk was very... white male focused and off-putting.
I do think you're 100% in your right to ask for a commitment to safety. I do the same through backchannels!
Chiming in a bit late - but this is one of the few conferences in which I feel really connected to both the organizing staff and the other attendees because it has this family friendly community vibe - and that I would actually vouch for!
