All of that said, if cannabis is your drug of choice, and you used it so much that it disrupted your life, you can’t use cannabis. It was never my drug of choice, and doesn’t disrupt my life. If I run out, I’m fine, I don’t crave it.

Like, I have bad anxiety, and cannabis is better than taking Xanax. I am a chronic pain patient, and taking cannabis is way better than taking Oxycodone. I have ADHD, and if I can take cannabis instead of Adderall, I believe it’s better for my health.

I consider myself clean and sober. I’m actually a strong proponent of addicts using cannabis as a medical treatment for anxiety, autism, depression, pain management, etc. Some people may disagree, but cannabis is the safest medicine I can take for my symptoms.

I don’t drink, and I don’t do any drugs, I even turn down opioid pain meds at the hospital. But I’ll eat a weed gummy here and there, particularly when I’m overwhelmed bc of my autism and anxiety.
