My wife and I were lucky enough to see Isa Briones play Connie Francis last week in “Just in Time.” So the Pitt finale was such a wonderful flashback.

A deadly bacterial disease is returning, doctors warn, as vaccination rates fall Hib once killed 1,000 children a year, permanently disabling many more. Doctors who've never seen the disease say the comeback is changing the way they practice medicine.

“The last night I was a pediatric resident, a child came in with Hib and promptly died by the next day. I didn’t work for 50 years to have everything destroyed by one man.”

Maybe DOGE Was Just Looking in the Wrong Places Perhaps it should have been looking more closely at President Trump’s Cabinet to find wasteful spending.

“Over at the Pentagon, a watchdog group’s analysis found some outlandish outlays: $98,329 on a grand piano for the Air Force chief of staff’s home, almost $9 million on lobster tail and crab, and $15.1 million on rib-eye steak—all from September alone.”

Meanwhile our steak has gone up 17% in price.

Who’s questioning women’s right to vote? A post from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth showed his support of a fringe evangelical Christianity that is gaining more traction in the Republican Party.

Question for those with a Republican congressman or congresswoman: Do you agree with what Idaho pastor Doug Wilson told CNN and that Pete Hegseth retweeted?

“In my ideal society, we would vote as households.”

What say you, Tom Emmer? Derrick Van Orden? Mariannette Miller-Meeks? Colleagues?
