I made a tool to generate AI powered recaps of Discord hosted #TTRPG / #DnD sessions. Not really sure where else to write about it, so thought I'd put it out on the BlueSky. It uses Craig to record the session, whisperx to transcript it to text, and your LLM AI of choice to generate the recap.

I came across the #Google spec sheet for #bash scripts, which says bash scripts be 100 lines max, if it's more you should use a real language. But with enough semi colons, any bash script can be a one line script! So I wrote a (one liner) to turn any bash script into a one liner: y.goose.ws/2q9

May I present my first Blue Sky post. Allow me to share a short (11 line) #bash script I wrote: y.goose.ws/1v7. Its purpose is to take a video, and compress it down to 6 MB so it can be sent via #Discord. I tested it with a 30min/4K/6 GB file, and the result was an absolute abomination. Enjoy!

So I just went down a rabbit hole, and this product is actually named/marketed as a "Finger cleaner". Allegedly it's an easy "get around" for states where sale of items explicitly named as "sex toys" are illegal. Didn't look more into the authenticity of that claim, but I'd believe it.
