Sonic 2, the Japanese guys came to America to make it

Again, I can’t tell you what to do, but if you are considering jumping into Moon I strongly suggest you avoid guides and walkthroughs. Take the opportunity of being stuck to just exist in the world, observe how it functions over time. The in-game hint system is enough! (Show items to Yoshida)
I know it's Mother 3 day but I'm thinking about Stray Children again. The way it feels like the creator directly spilling his heart to the player. It's earnest in a way I have not felt since Mother 3. I think you get a little more out of it if you have been following Love-de-Lic games for a long time, but I think the message comes across without that too. I'm so happy I played Moon and then I later played Stray Children.
We need to stop accepting views expressed on Twitter as real opinions. The sooner everyone assumes that the median post on that website is done in bad faith and principally designed to chase clout, the sooner we stop letting these fake controversies take up all the oxygen in the room.

I don't *dislike* Mega Man Star Force but it is a little sad how Battle Network Legacy Collection was like pure unfiltered joy injected right into my brainstem and with Star Force I'm having to motivate myself to choose it over other games on my days off.
I think maybe part of my problem is that my brain rewards me with copious amounts of dopamine for /imagining/ doing something, and then actually trying to do it is largely frustrating and unrewarding in comparison.
I do believe in “Play how you want, it’s not wrong if you’re having fun” to an extent but at some point you are just closing people off from having new rewarding experiences by gleefully suggesting they sidestep every potential hurdle.
YOU MUST PLAY SEGA SATURN
Pokopia is like just the right size for me not to be overwhelmed right now so I am terrified that DLC is probably on the way
I think it's safe to say miitomo was the only good social media platform
I’m older than the parents on Rugrats even though they aesthetically read like being 50+ to me
What if Death Note took place in Los Angeles and instead of killing people Light had the power to supernaturally break people’s cars.

Wouldn’t it be cool if a social media web developer actually had an idea on how to learn from how miserable everyone is on the apps we have now, and promote more positive connections between people instead of just assuming that this is the best we can do? Anyway they need to bring back Miitomo
still thinkin about ffxi heroines
“I get it now” scene from Always Sunny

Am I the only one who just has no emotional investment in TV revivals? King of the Hill is like my favorite TV show of all time and I have had zero urge to watch the new season.
I like seeing people who are seriously entertaining the possibility that the creators of Smiling Friends are ending the show because the fanbase got too cringe. Just a flawless example of the kind of fantasy logic that comes from a brain poisoned by social media use.
I think it’s really cool and interesting the way Nintendo’s Tomodachi/Miitopia series creates emergent stories by having the player project different people and characters they are already familiar with onto a set of finite scenarios.

I’ve been browsing Reddit on my lunch break because it’s a app I can trust to not have NSFW pop up, and the videogame discourse over there is so dire I am starting to feel like my entire life of pushing to treat games as a serious artistic medium has been a waste of time.
Let’s say I wanted to make a Pokemon fangame that uses the exact same battle system/existing monsters but adds some new mechanics to the other parts of the game. Should I be looking towards ROMhacking or does there exist some kind of plug and play Pokemon kit for other game engines?
In today’s Online you need to have your entire identity consolidated and signposted, and if you don’t then you are assumed to have something to hide. This has become the norm on both ends of the mainstream political spectrum. People late to the party don’t recognize a better world existed.
This post is about VR Chat but this is basically the 90’s Internet I grew up with. You got to try on identities like hats, and experiment w/ participating in all these niche subcultures. It felt very utopian to me, & has largely been stripped away by the centralization & corporatization of Online.
I gotta give the Facebook liberals props, it turns out Idiocracy WAS real but instead of the stupid eugenics thing that happened in the movie, everyone got a virus that causes brain damage and then built a machine that atrophies your mind.
