New car type: convertible. There's currently small differences to the models: sedan is the base, pickup's got more torque, and the convertible is faster. I think some smaller car is next, that's lighter and more agile. Maybe a something like a Mini? I just need it to be boxy, old and europeanish.

it's more of a soviet car but the "lada" brand has a lot of small boxy cars that look neat.

Less boxy but still quick and nimble I'd go for Fiat 500/600. I also just found out there was a fiat 800 that might be boxy enough

Will be giving one of these away on the @machinefun.bsky.social account.

They are quite big! Around 26cm long, working lights too. Follow for details on how to enter.

A simply drawn game controller that's decaying on one side, eroding away as if into the sea, while on the other side a ring of golden stars encircles it. The European stars. It's an image for Stop Killing Games and its day in European Parliament.

'A real concern for millions and probably hundreds of millions of European citizens' - Stop Killing Games has its day in European Parliament and it seems to go very well www.eurogamer.net/stop-killing...

US tech firms successfully lobbied EU to keep datacentre emissions secret Legally questionable confidentiality clause adopted almost word for word from demands of Microsoft and trade groups

I dunno about y'all but I'm fairly sure we were sold out. Everybody involved needs to be held accountable for this, and the data centers need to be held not just to the same, but to higher environmental standards.

Boot back into Windows for one day, and I'm immediately reminded why I left.

Why would typing "steam" bring up "stream deck" when there is an app called "steam" on my PC?

Fantasy map of a region nested between a chasm and a mountain range. The technique used is a mix of cross hatching and watercolor. It features fantasy creatures like dragons, goblins and giants. The style evokes old books and fairy tales.

Greetings fellow denizens of the blue skies.
I'm and old school D&D nerd who draws fantasy maps for a living. While sharing is much appreciated, it's not mandatory.
Comments, though, are most welcome.

A sweet natured anniversary today: Dōbutsu no Mori aka Animal Forest aka Animal Crossing. Released in Japan 25 years ago for N64. 💜

I've only lightly dabbled with Animal Crossing, mostly the GC and Wii games.

Do you have a particular favourite AC game, peeps? Any stories to share?

interesting that when a movie with female protagonists does poorly the response is to cancel upcoming projects with female protagonists and when a movie with female protagonists is a huge hit the response is to cancel upcoming projects with female protagonists

Seven countries now generate 100% of their electricity from renewable sources, proving the transition is not theoretical but already operational. The barrier is no longer technology, but political will, investment priorities, and the courage to move faster.

pixel art of four hand studies, there are four equal sized squares of art. the top left is purple and dark and the hand has prominent veins on the back side. the top right is vibrant red with a teal highlight from a strong light source like a window. the bottom left is holding a bright blue butterfly delicately on its fingertip. the bottom right is making long shadows across the palm with the fingers
