😜 I hope they also have a drink 🥃
I’m glad to see how skilled they’ve got at ignoring bad moderator questions but it would be so great to have Reshma 🤞🏻
Done!
Winchester Cathedral where Jane is buried (and an Anthony Gormley figure found in the oldest Norman part of the building)
My best friends organised a Jane Austen tour for me this weekend. We went to a church and field in Steventon, Chawston cottage and museum and Winchester. It was a perfect couple of days.
He’d been drinking so would have made him less cautious maybe, but I didn’t see it as out of character for John to kiss a former lover and momentarily forget who might be around. There may be an element of entrapment from Percy too.
I think you may have encouraged a few very happy with season 8 fans to post more 🥰 Spread the love!
The kiss works if we’d had the Percy backstory from the LJG books. John did love him, saved him from death and asked Jamie for advice about him. He’s starved of love and was tempted by nostalgia maybe. I read a lot into it 😂
I thought this was a brilliant scene. Both men playing it so well and probably adding even more emotion and regret to what happens next (if as Bees).
It really is worth reading the LJG and other Outlander timeline books. I love knowing about Percy, Jamie’s relationship with Hal’s wife Minnie, Roger’s parents, and not least Jamie and John’s Irish adventure while he was at Helwater for added depth.
I think season 8 is my favourite. I’ve been in bits every episode. I don’t comment when people are not enjoying it because each to their own but I’m glad you’ve said this. I think they’ve all done a cracking job.
It’s so exciting to see wildlife - this taken on Arran last week.
Best recap ever! 😂 especially gazebo grief, hot couple and Denny. But guys Claire was omnipresent - she just has to raise an eyebrow for Jamie to get the telepathy - this is where a good marriage gets you to! It’s good to have charismatic leader Jamie back for a bit too.
This was an excellent interview. Zelenskyy is a giant.
So pleased to see Jamie putting the women in charge of their tenancies 💪🏼
Declaration not treaty of Arbroath. "As long as a hundred of us remain alive, never will we on any conditions be brought under English rule"
Also loved it when Jamie repeated Claire’s words about that’s why it’s called a plan to Cunningham.
‘Not since Monmouth’ 😭
Best Claire moment (we know everything - to Elspeth)
✅ Best Jamie moment - treaty of Arbroath (while 100 of us remain..)
✅ Best line (je suit pres)
✅ Jaw drop (Denny!)
✅ Who you hated (Cunningham / Crombie)
✅ Couple moment (fire and bandages)
✅ 😴 scene you’d skip (same as everyone else 🪲)
Reshma 🙌🏼
I think it’s good to have more MPs not from the ‘political class’ but I don’t think this piece comes across well. Labour would also have this wish list. I want a long term plan to renationalise water but I don’t want to pay Macquarie and their like for the pleasure. What is the plan from anyone?
I hope next week we see Jamie give tenancies to the women and trust them to keep their men in check. I loved that in Bees.
Amazing. Arran is a great mix. Ideally we like to come at the end of May but we have exams to work around this year. This is the place we always stay.
Oh I’ve been dying to get back here, it’s so relaxing and very beautiful. Thank you for commenting! 🥰
A lovely Arran beach walk while the sun shone, amazing seafood at Mara in Corrie and a coo
2 CalMac Ferries crossing each other in the same shot! Taken from Arran
😂 sounds wonderful though
Thanks so much for posting the link. I’ve finally found the time to listen and it didn’t disappoint. I love Edie as an interviewer - she interviewed Sam too - was it Clanlands or Men in Kilts? I wish they’d always use knowledgable moderators at other events!
Yes feel very lucky we got across yesterday. I went to get shopping and saw the ferry docked. Really enjoying the tea and reading and maybe watching our favourite programme again!
