mmkay, after pegging the CPU at 100% for 20 minutes it processed thumbnails for 25K images. The other 25K got done last night while I was sleeping

ended up giving the VM another 48G RAM (it's now up to 64G) and another 128G of disk space (sitting at 196G)

Running thumbnail generation on my primary picture library and it's slamming all 16 CPU cores lol
