if people are using classified information to place bets, then theoretically others can analyze betting behavior to find signals that reveal classified information.
Turns out they weren’t against technology per se but against the dehumanising uses of technology that destroyed communities.
Recently read a pretty good book on that topic that draws comparisons between the Industrial Revolution and Ai. Could have been shorter imho but you learn a lot about who the Luddites really were - which is a far cry from the stereotype most of us know.
