ever just write a post and at some point delete a part of it and forget you did it, and the result is absolute gibberish?

yeah, that second part of my post really imploded.

how can i write comics and novels without a second thought, and yet am unable to compose a half decent short post???

at some point this illustration for my novel has become a journey of artistic indecisiveness.

i feel like this story is a movie in my head and i keep hitting pause trying to capture the perfect moment for each illustration and missing it by a split second every time XD

heh, yeah i was streaming this live and someone asked something so i was demonstrating...something i don't even remember what it was anymore

thankfully i still had an older backup save. this painting's history is a wild one XD

that feeling when you spend so much time confidently working on an illustration for your own novel and you gaslight yourself that at this specific moment the characters were still fully clothed...

only to reread the novel and realize they were in fact nude and you gotta redo the illustration. XD

yeah. i call it very dedicated worldbuilding :P

and now here i am wrapping up the last chapter, doing the final rewrite and sending it to my proofreader for formatting next month

creativity is a strange, addictive drug

damn... 2016 i started messing with the idea of lisa's first novel that she'd end up writing in the late stages of the mercy arc and having her go through a journey from self loathing for picking a cheesy romantasy story to absolute obsession as she ditches the shame and falls in love with her work

comic stores get it 2 weeks earlier but not all of them order it. each side has its downsides
