Don't worry, I am sure something will be figured out eventually. I just hope I will get to see the day when they are understandable to me and others who can't speak Japanese (at least we have translation programs, but they don't work well on manga in my opinion).

In this other mecha franchise I like, Battletech, the writers of the books meet twice a year to make sure nobody revealed their planned mysteries and to set new ones for the next books. It is quite devious trap for fans indeed.

I think these might be intentionally mysterious events, characters, places, and organisations. Many fiction projects have unsolvable mysteries written into them to make the world feel bigger and make us more intrigued by the setting.
