The most charitable interpretation I can think of is that some people think that any use of generative AI represents such an egregious failure of ethics and/or risk assessment that anyone who does so can no longer be trusted. I was in a convo (on Mastodon) where someone pretty much said that.

Thinking about forking @nolanlawson.com's Pinafore browser-based client for Mastodon, or maybe one of its descendants (Semaphore or Enafore), and adding Bluesky support, so I can access Bluesky using the same UI I've already gotten comfortable with. Might even try agentic coding for this project.

ATProto - did:web

Just starting to play with Bluesky and #ATProto. Decided to establish my presence here the hard way: self-hosted PDS on my existing server with did:web rather than the de-facto centralized did:plc. For the latter, had help from atproto-did-web.lukeacl.com
