A brown raccoon, Counterpart, is looking up at a colossal dragon, Boston, walking down the street.

Boston is my character, base model is Draconian by alber.
Counterpart is my character, base model is Razcanine by Razra.
-------------------------------------

Counterpart wondered down the streets at night alone. He loved walking at night, but felt it was less about alone-time and more about feeling... different. Everyone he knew was a day-walker, thriving in the daylight and company of others.

But for him, he wasn't one. He wanted to be, and tried, but he just couldn't keep up with everyone else, and so went back to being a night-wanderer. There weren't many like him, and those that were felt too different for him to get to know.

As he walked down the sidewalk of the once-busy street, he heard a loud boom behind him, and the ground quaking underneath him. He jumped in shock, but forgot to catch himself, falling to the ground. The quakes and booms didn't stop though. In fact, they were getting closer.

Picking himself off the ground and looking at the source, Counterpart saw something he'd never thought he'd see: a giant dragon walking through the city.
Most dragons were also day-dwellers. It was strange seeing one out here like this, never mind one so huge.

As Counterpart saw the dragon walk towards him, he saw the dragon looking at all the city lights around, but not looking down. Counterpart was extremely curious about this dragon, and wanted to talk to him despite his apprehension of being noticed by such a large beast.

"Hey! Hey down here! What are you here for?" Counterpart shouted at the top of his lungs, hoping to get the dragon's attention. Unfortunately, however, the dragon seemed to not notice him at all.

A brown raccoon, Counterpart, is running up behind a colossal dragon, Boston, trying to get his attention.

Boston is my character, base model is Draconian by alber.
Counterpart is my character, base model is Razcanine by Razra.
-------------------------------------

Counterpart felt he was shouting pretty loud. He couldn't tell if he was being ignored or just not being heard at all. As he watched the dragon pass by, he felt... miniscule in a literal and figurative sense. Like he wasn't enough to notice.

A part of Counterpart felt slighted. Another part felt depressed that he would go unnoticed again. He froze for a second, watching someone so interesting to him slip by again.

Counterpart slowly became more and more frustrated with himself. He knew he'd never get the change to make friends if he didn't try, but was so terrified to reach out with someone who he felt was way out of his league and depth.

Counterpart breathed in. If this was going to happen, he *needed* to make it happen, at least once.

He lept off the sidewalk he had been on, and ran behind the dragon, shouting to try and get his attention. He knew the streets would be safe since not cars would want to drive around with the dragon taking up the whole road.

A brown raccoon, Counterpart, has grabbed onto Boston's tail,

Boston is my character, base model is Draconian by alber.

-------------------------------------

Counterpart ran, but was realizing he couldn't keep up with the far larger strides the dragon made. Looking around to find something to use, he spotted the dragon's tail swishing in wide motions behind him.

While a scaled tail would have been hard to hold on to and climb on, the tuft of hair on the end was a perfect place to grip on.

Counterpart realized shouting was never going to work, but if he needed to follow the giant, he would need to climb on the tail to at least stay with him. The tail wasn't very fast, at least not relatively fast for the dragon. It stayed low to the ground, but also managed to not damage any of the street lights as it didn't swing too far. He may be able to gain his attention too, Counterpart thought to himself.

Counterpart knew he was doing this without permission, but couldn't stop himself from trying to. He lept up as the tail swung back in his direction, and grabbed onto the tufts of hair on the tail. It took a second for him to find his grip, but Counterpart had climbed surfaces much less grippable too.

Counterpart slowly climbed up to the top of the tail tip as it swung around lazily, hoping to get the dragon's attention somehow. Either by climbing the tail, poking at it until he's felt, or some combination of both.

As Counterpart began to climb from the hair to the scales of the tail tip, he could tell that it would be quite a bit harder to find a grip. He looked up at the backside of the dragon. Seeing how far he had to go to get to the base of the tail was daunting. Seeing how the dragon looked and carried himself, and maybe being able to talk to him though, that filled Counterpart with the courage to try.

However, as he began to do so, he noticed a near-immediate shift: He heard the dragon speak. "Whoops, sorry, don't mind me." It was a loud, booming voice, but... also gentle in a way too. Counterpart looked up to see the dragon waving at something.

As Counterpart tried to take a look at what it was, the tail jerked to the side. Counterpart managed to keep his grip in time, but the tail seemed to be swishing faster and faster. It was getting much harder to keep his grip, but Counterpart held as fast as he possibly could.

Everything was a blur, and all Counterpart could do was hold on, while trying to make progress with his climb despite how fast the tail was moving now. It didn't look like it from the sidewalk, but he began to realize how much it actually moved even at the normal levels it was at before.

Yo a Render Sequence?? Haven't done one of these in a long while, especially for unaware stuff.

Picked up a new environment that's been pretty cool too, so wanted to try that out.

I'll have more writing in the Alt Texts for each image due to character limits.
