1000% agree. I think the art world is esp out of whack bcus even when people say they want it to change, it’s clear theres no consensus. Like you can be Kline, have a whole show about the disintegration of workers autonomy and the environment at the Whitney and still want that work to happen for you

My next show is in about a month and of course it doesn’t matter that I’ve been working on these paintings since last September, it’s still going to all come together at the last possible second
