Welp, I'm unemployed, so I might as well get more certifications to make me seem like I actually spent my time going back to school. Well, technically that is half-correct.
Although COVID era sucked mostly, one nice thing that came out of it was popularize online courses.

If you make an opinionated post, and someone tries to change your mind, are you supposed to:
1) defend your opinion, knowing the other person likely won't change their mind, and no one wins
2) agree they are correct and change your opinion
3) block them

None of these sound like great answers to me

even worse-apparently there is no obamacare, so no free health insurance for those who recently lost job too. The 'discounts' are pretty shitty too.

I thought working in healthcare would grant me benefits, but i'm gonna be real honest here--your company won't cover your healthcare unless you're one of the top healthcare companies in your state.
Everything else is an overpriced healthcare plan with massive deductibles, unless you pay $300+/month

I already went through a pack of instax film. This stuff is so expensive 😫 💀

I keep reflecting on whether or not I should have invested in something more 'automatic' for more reliable photos, or if I made the right choice for more experimental pieces

But so am I? I want to make artistic instant photos a thing at cons too.

I only went to #Carriercon 2026 on Sunday, and the lighting was awful and many of my pics were blurry because I'm not used to using a full manual camera.

I found a really good deal on an old-model plastic Lomo Automat camera that came with film. I was telling my friends about how I'm going to get good, and if I like it, I'll invest in one of their glass lens versions

I used the money I earned from my photo shoot to buy a second-hand experimental instant camera. It costed almost exactly as the amount I earned, so I saw it as a sign. It was more than half off the original price!
Just wait till it comes in the mail, the design looks hella sick ☺️

The difficulty on mastering a camera like this is trying to defeat an arch tempered dragon by yourself on Monster Hunter Wilds.

Aside from the chaos that AI art has been dropping on artists, it has also started some sort of physical art movement. Polaroids and instant cameras are now trendy 😀

Several photographers told me I would get sick of this fisheye 'gimmick' with my plastic 'toy lens', but over 5 years passed, and I ended up buying a full metal professional one, and have been even more experimental.

My friend joked that this Jojo pic looks like an NWA rap album cover 😂

I'm very proud of myself for my very first paid cosplay commission at a convention today.
I even made a prop for the shoot!
I first started out asking my cosphotographer senpais to help clean my camera lens, and years later, now I am telling them all about *this* today. What an amazing journey!

They dropped a LOT of easter eggs in s2, perhaps a bit too many. Well, I'm not the paid director here, so I shouldn't be making too many judgements. I'm hoping there will be a future season 4 for Brook, because his short appearance was so amazing here! But are they going to do the panty jokes too?😶

Super duper props to the stylist who did the One Piece characters' hair. I thought Mr. 3's hair was impossible in the manga, but omg it was jaw dropping!
There was a bit too much CG for my taste. Still, little Chopper was kinda cute, but that just made his crying so emotional T_T

I finally finished One Piece Season 2.
I have mixed opinions. Most of the characters were outstanding, but the scripting and dialogue could have been better, like using the word 'shit' too much.
Brook's character brought me to tears, it was so beautiful!
Big human Chopper...not so much.

yea, a lot of anime these days just follow very similar trends. A lot of production companies just don't want to take their chances anymore on genres that aren't as popular or mainstream T_T

in this entire list, the only one I haven't seen is Armitage. I'll check it out!
