My reaction to Umineko is pretty much the opposite. I love the characters and vibes, but find all the mystery elements tedious and ill conceived, particularly in episodes 2-4.
Every game I finished in 2025, listed alongside their current ranks in my grand ranking of all my (231) finished games.
Pretty good year. Nothing quite blew my mind like Ghost Trick last year, but 9 new entries in the top 100, and only one truly bad game. :)
I decided on trying out Danganronpa back in 2020 and the Zwanganronpa streams ended up being some of the most fun I've ever had streaming haha.

Man it's been half a year and I'm still mad about Expedition 33. Such potential for that to have been an all time favorite and it fucked it up in the last 10 minutes. I will die mad. My last thought before they pull the plug will be "Fuck the Dessendres".

Sure, but have you tried playing Galbadia Garden without No Enc? I don't wish that on anyone. I think FF8 is somewhat saved from having the consensus worst dungeons in the series by being able to turn off encounters even back on the PS1. That and the fact that Ultimecia's Castle genuinely slaps.
True but also this is good actually. I will take the tubes over FF8's awful time wasting mazes any day of the week.

Wanting to replay Celeste for the first time since 2018, both to reevaluate its place in my top 10 games and to finally try Farewell, accidentally turned into getting 201 berries, which was pretty fun to grind.
Also it moved up two spots in the top 10. Game absolutely rules.

Unfortunately I am already super addicted to chess and I feel like this would be like that time I got moderately okay at Guitar Hero 2 and then tried playing Guitar Hero 3 and the fact that the notes looked slightly different totally fucked up my brain and I couldn't stand playing it.
I have so many issues with this list but I'm choosing to be positive and say fuck yeah Baba enjoyers unite.
