Klobuchar: "Somehow 50,000 peaceful protesters in 10 below weather were able to march without any problems, and then the next day half a dozen ICE and CBP agents couldn't handle a guy with a cell phone taking video of them and shot him. I think it's pretty obvious what's going on here."

If you're living somewhere outside the USA, one thing you can do is pressure your leaders to boycott World Cup and Olympic events here.
Pretty sure he didn't even write that so-called apology.
It was coherent, the figures are accurate, ISN'T ALL IN CAPS, and didn't say "thank you for your attention in this matter".
Idk man I think the murder was murder but this is also pretty murdery jfc
I don't think this alone is enough, but sooner or later Elon will say or do something REALLY stupid, like suspending X in Greenland and Denmark. Or openly admit to interfering in elections.
And X will be history in Europe.
Just because X is a service provider it doesn't exempt it from following the laws of every country in which it wants to provide that service.
And sovereign countries have the right to ban it from their countries if X refuses to put systems in place to prevent it operating legally.
Would American politicians be outraged that I was selling alcohol to minors?
Would I be told to STOP selling the minors?
If I refused to comply, and openly stated I intended to CONTINUE selling alcohol to minors, would America be justified in banning my app from the app stores, and fining me?
Thought experiment.
Just suppose I, a UK citizen, created an app that sold alcohol and I listed my app on American app stores.
Suppose I then decided anyone between 18 and 21 could buy alcohol with my app (because 18 is the minimum legal drinking age in the UK).
Hi Minnesota! I am a journalist working with Mother Jones. I am riding around in a white GMC with Florida plates DS84GJ. I am not ICE!
and eulogise over how he's protecting school children, and his base will lap it up.
Trump will literally dismantle the 2nd amendment, and the people who claimed they needed their weapons to prevent the rise of a tyrannical government will applaud enthusiastically as he creates one.
Prediction:
Trump will use threats against ICE following the Minnesota shooting to introduce a gun control bill.
The "I dare you to try taking them" second amendment absolutists will do a complete 180 and claim he's the only president who was brave enough to clamp down on mass shootings...
1/
For those keeping score, Bellingcat, The New York Times Visual Investigation Team, & Washington Post's Visual Forensic team have all published analysis showing the ICE shooter wasn't in the path of Renee Nicole Goodโs vehicle when he shot her, contradicting statements by the President & his cronies
and people have accused him of doxing, and are demanding he be banned from the site, or worse are actually posting vaguely threatening remarks.
Has the world completely insane, or is it just me?
It seems like only yesterday that J D Vance was lecturing Europe about how we don't have free speech here, unlike in America.
Today an American has posted a name published by an American newspaper performing basic investigative journalism, on an American social media site...
1/
Brian Kassenstein tweeted this: Jonathan Ross is his Name. Stay peaceful.
This is the original post, by the way, just for complete transparency...
Saying that name is doxing according to the blue-ticks on the other site... ๐
Various blue tick accounts on X claiming that naming the Minnesota ICE agent is doxing and demanding suspensions and issuing veiled threats to the poster.
So, the blue-ticks are having a meltdown on the other site because the Minnesota shooter has been named. They say it's doxing.
It seems like only yesterday J D Vance was lecturing Europe about free speech, and now basic investigative journalism is no longer permitted in the USA, apparently.
Most MAGA supporters voted for Trump and his unconventional approach - just like people did for Boris Johnson over here in the UK.
Once Boris was ousted, the Conservative Party imploded into a dozen factions all fighting with each other.
If you're lucky the same will happen to the Republican party.
Waiting for those 2nd amendment obsessives who claimed they needed their guns to rise up and prevent a takeover by a tyrannical dictatorship to spring into action.
Any minute now...
Guys?
In other news, water confirmed to be wet.
It's not Socialism if Trump does it, apparently. ๐
Try posting something positive about Trans people on twitter, and let us know if you still feel that way after you've been piled on by 1000 rabid TERF sock accounts.
Says the white cis male, from his position of privilege.
Try creating and using an alt account on twitter that states you're trans in the bio, or just pro trans rights, and we'll see how long it takes before you change your mind.

Stating "I am going to spend my time creating something I know users will hate and force them to use it" on your own social media site is certainly a choice.
Software developers write their apps how *they* want it to work, rather than how their users *want* them to work.
When they get pushback from the users, the reaction is always the same - the user is wrong.
Which is why the extension and modding communities exist.
Twitter user ClassicJukeboxx: Let's add some critical thinking to the conversation. Health is an evolutionary phenomenon, not a scientific one per se. This is why ancient humans and animals in nature were perfectly healthy. And don't come at me with that longevity nonsense.
Now, games are bought from a virtual shop, downloaded over the Internet, and if you're *lucky* you get a pdf manual.
And you're trying to tell me it's more *expensive* to make games now?
Also, anyone paying $60 dollars for a game in the 90s was an idiot with more money than sense.
Those games in the 90s had a physical box, physical media, and often a printed manual. They had distribution costs to pay, to get those physical boxes to shops, and the shops had to pay their staff so they added their percentage too.
Literally none of that is true any more.
Evangelicals are literally the worst people in the world. They twist the teachings of the bible like a pretzel to justify their bigotry.
Like the dude who claimed "empathy is a sin"...
