I like the second one more. The background being slightly darker + the text glow helps give it some visual clarity.

I'm not old enough to have grown up with many of the games Rebecca Heineman worked on, but I was still shocked by her passing. Seeing a trans woman who played a key role in video game history pass away so tragically and suddenly was genuinely disheartening. Fuck cancer, and may she rest in peace.

Longhorn Bluesky is on hiatus for now. I burnt myself out on the project and would like to move on. I may pick it up again in the future, but for now I just wanna make other stupid stuff.

A few sprites I did for a game that I'm working on. Honestly really proud of how these turned out.

Sorry for doomposting yesterday, had a mental breakdown.

Alright, I'll add it to the next update as an option.

I've considered adding it, but held off since it would probably be difficult. Maybe it'll be added within the next few updates?

Figured out why I couldn't log in. It was just a VM issue on my end.

For those of you not running 0.2.1, PLEASE UPDATE NOW! There is a critical bug in the code that is fixed in that version.

Strange, I'll try looking into this.

Do you have 2FA enabled? If you do, the client doesn't support 2FA yet.

Windows hides the file extension by default for some reason. If you can't find it, look for "Client" with the Bluesky icon.

Just tried that, didn't work. Another question, are you using an extended kernel to get it running?

You can place the folder somewhere and run the executable from it. Might make a proper installer at some point.

Should work now, just tested.

Hang on, I might have accidentally deleted a file in the binaries. It should work now.

The client doesn't work on Windows XP. You'll need Windows 8 at minimum.

I think the client has enough functionality for an early beta release. So here you go.

Also, I don't want to fill up this thread with updates on the client, so most information will be posted on @lhblueskytest.bsky.social.

A Bluesky client with a skeuomorphic design reminiscent of Windows Longhorn. The login screen is being shown.

The same client, but now logged in. A post by MondySpartan is open saying "Based on these...I also made variants for Windows Longhorn/Vista!". Attached are boot-screen concepts for pre-reset Windows Longhorn.

The home page of the client. There is a section with four tabs. The first tab, titled "Discover," is selected. Above it is a box for posting, with the default text "Whats Up?".

Hey again. I know it's been a bit since the last update, so here's a few things that I've added since then.
- Actual MondySpartan logo and wordmark (Thanks Mondy)
- Feeds are actually functional, albeit a bit broken
- Profiles work as well
- Detailed posts work too!

I also wanna apologize for the lack of updates. The scope of this project was a bit bigger than I though. Plus, I have a lot on my hands right now, so I haven't had as much time to work on it. Anyways, I just didn't want y'all to be left in the dark, so here you go.
