I am asking everyone who reads or sees this to please do just *one more thing* to avoid spreading COVID this holiday season. The post has a list of easy-ish options, like wear a mask on the subway or to the pharmacy if nowhere else.

Don't remove your mask indoors. Aerosols < 5 micrometers can persist in the air for hours.

I could have written this - except I think I may have had COVID in late Feb 2020. I also restrict indoor space visits to essentials (eg doctor, med pick ups) and we still get trunk pick ups/deliveries for groceries etc. Nice to meet you both!

That is so frustrating. I’m sorry that happened. It is really mind boggling how advocating for health and prevention has made us a fringe group.

I do. I think for some, it’s denial and shame. Deep down, they know they’re prioritizing their comfort over others, but being uncomfortable is too much to bear. They hide behind self-care/mental wellbeing excuses & point to their vax and handwashing efforts… on their way to their next cruise.
