One reason for it, The Cost of Living, venues buying what comes at their price point, which can be the lowest of prices to equal the maximum of margins.

The latest ale to hit the bar! It’s black and it’s a porter. You can’t fault the name 😏😂 @wishbonebrewery.bsky.social @hullandeyorkscamra.bsky.social

If its similar to the discount that Maltsters got a year or so back, as malt prices came down, it will be fully biased towards bigger scale manufacturers. Still a productive way to limit some of the trickle-down cost increases.

Any idea where the Govt announcment is for this?
10'000 businesses is not a lot, which is a shame when all businesses are being screwed over by ennergy prices.

We are starting to use Brewers Clarex BC (or its clones) in our Lagers and a product called Brewty in the Hot Liquor Tank so we no longer have to dose Finings Adjunct into Spunded (Naturally Carbonated) Lagers to aid clarity. NOT TESTED AS GLUTEN FREE. @charlesfaram @murphys1887

*Has just written the words "chase lemon zest", not something you write that often!
This means we're planning to brew our Ginger Beer again, the ginger is already on order, planned for mid-may.

I've been busy, but can't say I've seen anything about this until now.

In Keighley pubs look to wholesalers mostly, we can hardly get anything into wholesale because we cant stretch to the demanded prices and/or 60+ days terms! Not to mention the fact that we'll be lucky to make about £3 per firkin into Wholesale, making it a poor proposition from the start.

Yep, if only local pubs bought local beer, its honestly just based around the best prices they can get and even new brewers enter the market leading with price which pushes out all those folks that just try to make good beer with the price being whatever it is after creating the recipe.

Our March opening in the brewery was mayhem, in a good way, so many folk came out to see us. If more local pubs bought beer from us we might not need to open the brewery but its a majorly important part of our revenue and we would be dead without it. It would be lovely to get local support from Pubs

I objected to it, but no sense from the council. Traffic will be worse and it’s already bad enough.

btw, in what context was your problem? An experience can be a journey through an experience or that experience could travel through multiple layers or shades of experience. Feels like a journey to me. *Pokes wasps nest*

These last 2 weeks for me, its been holiday season, I'm just mellowing out now with the copper to finish cleaning and a FV to put on clean..... this also means that I've not had time to tweak the sales emails so they've gone out with some out of stock items!!!!
