* Israel Police statement explaining unprecedented act stopping the Cardinal of Jerusalem from accessing the Church of the Holy Sepulcher on Palm Sunday. Total blame placed on wartime IDF regulations, but this does not explain much. No rabbi has been stopped from accessing a synagogue.

From the start of Operation Roar of the Lion and in accordance with the guidelines of the Home Front Command, all holy sites in the Old City have been closed to the entry of worshippers, and in particular the sites that do not have a standard protected space, in order to safeguard public safety and security. The request of the Patriarch was already reviewed last night, and it was clarified that it cannot be approved for the same considerations detailed above.
The Old City and the holy sites are a complex area that does not allow the entry of large emergency and rescue vehicles, which poses a very significant challenge to the forces and constitutes a real danger to human life in the event of a multi-casualty incident. We emphasize that the police will continue to allow freedom of worship subject to the restrictions, and insofar as there are changes in the Home Front Command guidelines, the police will conduct a situational assessment, with the supreme goal being the protection of human life.

Israeli police say they stopped the Christian faith leader entry into the church due to wartime regulations, but no Jewish faith leaders have been prevented entry into synagogues.

These are fabulous pictures! They are so wholesome but they must bring a tinge of sadness too.

Please remember that dandelions are not truly weeds. They are the bees first meal in the spring. Grow and protect the dandelions, save the bees and you save the world.

I hope that they can use this to help bumblebees as they are far more endangered than the honeybee.

Around 12 tonnes of KitKat bars stolen, sparking fears of shortages before Easter The stolen truck had left central Italy and was making its way to Poland, with a plan to distribute the bars in countries along the way.

A huge shipment of KitKat chocolate bars was stolen in Europe, the brand said, warning that the heist risked causing shortages in stores right before Easter.

The shipment, weighing around 12 tonnes, disappeared last week while heading between production and distribution locations.

Happy Caturday!

We called him Bench, because we found him under our garden bench out the back and it suited him. He was so feral, but by the end he loved us and only us, didn't like strangers at all and slept in our beds 😆. The other cat 'Babba' we got when she was 6 wks old. So we had her for over 11 years.

😢 I had 2 cats die in one year, one was 11 years old and she just wandered off one day and never came back, the other was a stray we took in, he was already old, but we had 2 wonderful years with him before he died of old age. They take a piece of your heart with them 💔

Just as in Gaza, the US is lifting the constraints on how Israel can use American bombs. As a result, Israel uses 2,000lb bombs to strike densely populated areas in Tehran.

So, we are now seeing Gaza-style images of civilians and children being killed en masse in Iran.
