Reviewing my games and finding excellent answers feels an awful lot like coming up with a great comeback three blocks too late.

After my performance last night I'm left feeling that I need some kind of mantra to chant to myself during games to keep myself from spontaneously blundering the game away. I've lost so many won positions it hurts. #chesspunks

I did not find it without help. It is cute though.

Google, like us Chess players, are familiar with chasing a goal of being good at something we are not so good at.

I like speed runs both by high level players and by players slightly better than me, especially if they explain their choices.

I'm going to say it: Let your streaks lapse once in a while. The pressure to keep it going can make your study feel like work. I found the gamification good for forming habits but once you have that, relax a bit. #chesspunks
