35. Staffer Reborn
I bounced off of Staffer Case because I couldn't work around the localization and quite frankly I hated the game flow. BUT: the spinoff was interesting! The mechanics didn't matter in the end and it was very short, but I got what I wanted out of it. Weird to play on Switch though.
34. Murder by Numbers
At the end of the day, I didn't like this. The ratio of puzzle to story felt skewed, where it ended up being 15x15 grids over and over without much variation. It broke pacing completely, and it ended up making the story feel like a first draft. The 4th case was so incoherent.
ngl it's been a bummer to me seeing the switch just cuz I'm left-handed. There are loads of us out there!
Also side note, legitimately asked my husband "have you ever wanted to strangle a game before? This is one of those games."
Almost finished Murder By Numbers and I really can't stand the game flow anymore. It got so tired by the end of the first case and it kept going.

I get what the game was going for but I think it was trying to do too much, and ended up making something so repetitive and i was kind of like "get to the point" halfway through because the systems did not mesh well with the story. Looks nice, repetitive music, repetitive gameplay.

wasn't fond of the first; expected the second to have no plot rly like the first so w/e
