So, as I hinted at earlier, I was gifted a box of Silver Age comics from my Uncle last week. They were headed to the dumpster until he remembered I'm into comics again, and he hadn't been since the 60's.

I've mentioned this before, but it was a friend of my dad's. He was running a comic book shop out of his garage, and my dad introduced me to him in '84 when I was 10. Got my comics through him for several years.
Would work in the shop occasionally for comics.

Hahahaha! I don't have any of this series. I got confused with Marvel Team Up!

About 1/3 left to completing this run, including this one.

Maybe. He's not EIC, though, but still. ASM definitely is probably the main culprit. Been cataloging new buys tonight and this stretch of covers, while all pretty, are also extremely bland and hint at nothing inside the pages. Also, none of the covers by JRJR.

I was fortunate enough to completely miss these years of Spidey. But, I have been building up my collection over many lost years recently, on the cheap, including this story.
Not looking forward to the trauma, but I also have a heads up, at least.

Ok, I was out of comics from '96-'22, but when did cover art become so boring? Here we have 2 very similar covers, 19 years apart. Neither hint at anything with the story, and also, both by the same artist... the great JRJR.
Terrific art, don't get wrong, but what happened with teasing the story?

Hey! I finally remembered and watched some of the show! I like it. Well done! Also happy to see I actually had some issues in the top 10, and not just in the bottom 5.

I don't remember anything about this run as I haven't read since it was published.
If I ever get my Spidey read-through back into gear, I'll get there......maybe in a couple of years???

New comic snag! A little beat up, and has the back cover stamp cut out, but for $2, I have zero complaints.

Yeah, very surprising about ASM. That was right around the time I started collecting ASM.
