New in PN: Cue the rebellion
"The unfortunate conclusion to the shutdown is going to fuel a rebellion within the Democratic Party, one that has already begun but will only get stronger. And despite all the justified disgust now being expressed at Dems, in the long run it will be good for the party"

Honoring all who have served to protect our freedom. Your courage and sacrifice mean everything—thank you for serving our country and all of us.
#VeteransDay #ThankYou
Agree with this. Dems are really good at losing when they should win. If there is a “deal” that doesn’t get what they’ve been fighting for, then Dems wasted this whole shutdown on causing pain to everyday Americans and getting nothing for it.
Let them eat cake!
This is dangerous. Dangerous because this is not only control, be refining history for generations.
New images of the renovated East Wing of the #WhiteHouse have been released. 😂
Is “appalled” the correct feeling or should it be something worse?
Is this what we want, America? Masked ICE agents stalking Walgreens in the middle of the day and tackling American citizens? This is our America now?
Not the America I love. Not my America.
Seems like the journalist aren’t going to roll over when the 1st Amendment is being trampled on. Bravo.
Our politics has become so toxic that it’s shaping how the next generation sees the world — and not for the better. If we don’t lower the temperature soon, we’ll end up stuck in a cycle that’s hard to break.

Another devastating blow for the disability community as this administration cuts almost every employee responsible for administering funding & oversight for IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).
Education should be a basic human right..and disabled kids are just as deserving.
Just some guys trying to abduct humans in broad daylight.
Immoral, inhumane, illegal.
Are we the old people?
If this doesn’t remind you how immoral and authoritarian this administration is and the complete lack of empathy for anyone other than themselves, I don’t know what will help you understand.
The thing that bothers me so much is not the “we have to enforce our borders and laws.” We do.
It’s the giddy joy and celebration they have at the misery of people far less fortunate.
Always punching down
The culture of “work more, enjoy life less” is alive and well.
This morning, President Trump and Secretary Hegseth spoke to 800 high-ranking generals and admirals who had been called away from their stations around the world. At the meeting, Trump said he’d told Hegseth he should use American cities as “training grounds” for the military. 1/6
And if you aren’t worried about the President of the United States declaring to use the military in American cities, we are halfway down that slippery slope.
This spectacle should raise 🚩for every American.
A poor attempt to give Trump the visual of adoring, cheering Generals against the backdrop of a Patton-esque American flag.
What they got was a silent audience, cringe-worthy speeches, and a massive hit to their already non-existent credibility.
So…the Commander and Chief…
Are we going to talk about him? ‘Cuz I’m not sure he’s passing the new “Hegseth Anti-Fatty” test.
Until we recognize this isn’t “right” vs “left”, but rather a battle against a desire to sicken our future generations for nefarious purposes, we are going to continue to spiral downward as a country and a people.
In these online worlds toxicity and glorification of violent “heroism” metastasize and eat away at the basic human elements of empathy and common sense. All of which eventually find their way into everyday society.
We’ve allowed young people, especially men, to be isolated in these chambers of conspiracy and #extremism, without connection to reality. As communities become more socially disconnected, young people find solace in digital dens of #disinformation.
Something we need to talk about in the wake of this week’s events is the veracity at which young men in #America are being radicalized online.
The deep caverns of the internet are skewing masculinity, elevating extreme ideologies, and poisoning minds. Not right or left, extreme.
As Robert says, it doesn’t have to be this way.
This is a choice we have made as a society - to allow deep economic inequality that allows most of us to suffer and struggle unnecessarily.
It can be changed. It must be changed.
This is real. It’s hitting everyone. And as a father of four young kids, it hits hard. I can’t imagine what it’s like for those who are really struggling.
Kicking off a few days of leadership learning with the @vtprincipals in #Killington.
