I had to look it up today XD afaik it’s a Japanese commission website based on surprise comms, with no WIPs and artistic freedom, and that type of comm became very popular elsewhere and it’s usually called skeb-style!

Currently I only have the very standard portrait / half body / full body. All fully rendered (I’m not very interested in sketches tbf)

Yeah I’ve seen some people doing surprise or experimental, I’ve been thinking about it, I’m not sure I’d have ideas 😂 but only a ‘surprise’ comm at budget price seems fun. Although the ones I’ve seen I think have a subject defined by the client, and the surprise bit is us choosing how to paint it?

I just started reading the first Blackwater novel and the book’s introduction (not written by the author) just spoiled the book?? Two of what I can assume are big mysteries, just wham, before I stopped reading immediately. I’m flabbergasted 😭
