Also, no problem! Having gone through mental struggles and thought that nothing could make it better and meds couldn't possibly work, I feel like I basically have to tell people that there is shit out there that works.

Sorry for the late reply. I ended up having to try 3-4 meds before finding the right one that worked for me. So, if you do feel like you need it but not the ones you've tried, it's definitely worth trying others! Same with therapists. Might have to leave one or two to find one u trust and respect.
All this to say, you can definitely be ok again. Not just some day, but hopefully some day soon.
My first day on a mood stabilizer I felt so much better and was able to actually enjoy drawing again for the first time in months.
low mood robs you of everything
After a long day of work/college I used to spend 5 hours laying on the couch feeling so bad I couldn't get up to eat or do anything. At least 3 times per week.
Since starting meds, I've done it less than 1 time per month. And when I did last month, I only spent 2 hours, then I got up and made food.
Yo, about your low mood post: it's very relatable. I have a mood disorder that makes me feel the same way often. Long periods of low mood broken up by shorter periods of better mood. Mood stabilizer meds and therapy have helped me immensely. I def recommend reaching out to a mental health specialist
