A small Snowshoe Hare faces left. It is sitting exactly on the edge where shadow meets sunlight. The hare has begun it's seasonal colour change, brown hairs are poking through everywhere in it greyish white coat. It has a large brown eye, it's ears are edged in black.

Today's frog is the cross-backed bush frog.
A common loon got trapped in a fishing line, one of the many unseen dangers wildlife face every day. Unable to free itself, it cried out for help until rescuers arrived, carefully removing the line and releasing it back into the water.
