Should have added I was told to see the doctor if I wanted to persue it. Didn't mention an actual hearing test. Just didn't like the man's attitude.

By 8:15am today solar was generating 70% more than our baseload usage.

Can't remember exactly now to be honest, but I assumed the charge was to cover wax removal - which in my case wasn't needed. There was no hearing test involved - just the thingy that gets poked in your ear!

I don't!

Only Labour cultists would defend him.

He appointed the crooked mate of a convicted paedophile to suck up to a rapist president.

Please end this 16 yr continuity government with a progressive alliance.

Greens, PC and SNP are ready.

With all due respect to the Greens, I can't help feeling some of their new support is coming as a Regional choice from Indy supporters of other parties who, much as they may or might not otherwise support the Greens, are doing so atm because of the party's Indy support which a top priority for many.

Lots of noise from Labour about their renter's rights act for England.

The private jet tax is especially good - but I bet there are certain people in "high" places who might request/demand exemption.

That would be great. I believe there's currently a two year waiting list just for assessment - no help whatever your age and very isolating but especially if you're younger and it affects your working ability.

Wouldn't touch Specsavers unless I absolutely had no option. Went to them to check the possibility of a hearing issue (wad), they checked for wax (no issue) then charged me ยฃ25 for the privilege and offered to sell me a hearing aid if "I" thought it might help.

Answer to Scotland - Indy PosterBoy The Tories, Labour, Liberal Democrats and Reform are all parties based in and mostly funded from England. Their 'Scottish' branch office leaders answer to

They're *not* 'Scottish' Labour, 'Scottish' Tories or 'Scottish' LibDems. They are all branch offices of Westminster parties based in SE England who answer to their bosses there. Only 2 main parties SNP & Scottish Greens are genuinely answerable to Scottish voters.

Has anyone else noticed that after the back to back polls showing SNP majority we now have a poll stating that the SNP are loosing in all constituencies. ?? Strange don't you think, or maybe it's not strange atall maybe it's a direct colonial attempt to falsifying the Scottish polls ๐Ÿ‘‡

Did you know that Westminster doesn't permit the Scottish Government any power over Broadcasting, Constitution, Defence & Security, Employment, Energy, Economic & Monetary Policy, Foreign Policy, Immigration, Telecoms or Trade & Industry? Independence would give us control of all of it.

Did you know that Westminster controls 74% of Scotland's revenue, 37% of its spending, and tightly limits Scotland's ability to borrow? Imagine what we could achieve if we controlled all of it as normal countries do.

Now watch as unionist campaigns, mostly funded by deep pockets of their party head offices in England, wind up criticism of ScotGov by attacking things that are actually controlled by *Westminster*. They are counting on your ignorance about what's devolved and what isn't. Don't let them fool you.

Scottish Parliament election to have daytime vote count in 2026 Votes will be counted the day after the 7 May poll, instead of overnight, it has been announced.

The National today has a good piece on tactical voting on p 4-5 and highlights that the unionist parties are doing exactly the same to keep the SNP & Reform out.

It'll be a longer than usual anxious wait for the results ! I just hope the overnight security is good.

Ever tried running Linux? I've used Linux Mint for some 10+ years and rarely had any "seeing"/connection issues. It usually sees a new printer or other peripheral, identifies it, searches for/installs any needed drivers, and off you go.

Once in a while in politics, somebody has a bloody good idea. Itโ€™s in that category Iโ€™d file last weekโ€™s SNP manifesto proposal to use statutory public health powers to cap the price of selected foodstuffs in supermarkets, writes Tommy Sheppard โœ๏ธ
