never used pihole. been using pfBlocker-ng for 9 years and pfsense for a decade. Once I tuned the feeds well, I'm very happy with it's performance, ability to create allow-list exclusions, etc.

(seriously, there are way too many feeds, and no information on which work well or most consistently)
