it sucks that this is like. a thing that people have to worry about now. i do not envy the people who have to decide what the best policy is for detecting whether ai was used at any point in the process for 2000 images a day

i did take a look at some posts deleted for being AI and it does seem like they will go after anything that vaguely resembles the style or if there is a jump in quality so they are definitely a bit aggressive about it. makes sense that there would be false flags

e6 mods have to look at 900 ai generated submissions a day they know what it looks like. experienced artists have drawn for 90000 hours they know when someone is faking a part of the process

can people please trust extremely experienced artists and image board moderators about whether an image is AI. i promise they know what it looks like by now

yeah! being plantigrade is just kind of objectively the correct way to stand upright it seems. bears are probably the most human-shaped non-ape to walk upright and they just kind of walk like people but worse

this does also happen to kind of look like how fursuit digitigrade legs look. which makes sense. since both types of legs are supporting an upright bipedal body.

straight legs looks okay actually i thought it would look weirder..i think as long as that foot-ankle bone is perpendicular to the ground and supporting the weight it makes sense. i have seen other people draw legs like this but it is fun to come to the conclusion on my own also :)

my conclusion: the best way to draw digitigrade bipedal legs is whatever digitigrade fursuits have going on. the most realistic way to draw them is to have them very straightened out? but even then balancing would be an issue so the real answer is what feels right in your heart

deer do not look comfortable on their hind legs and im sure theres lots of other animals like that. birds are a whole different thing but are strictly bipedal so also maybe a good place to look??? idk. what do i make of all this

every animal that is bipedal and digitigrade just has their legs in a plantigrade position whenever they are standing because its more efficient. exceptions i can think of are: deer? birdd??

digitigrade legs on bipedal characters are cool but the more i learn about real world examples the more confusing it gets

i used to be in the same boat against freak art but if you do any real research into the subject you will find that both the drawings and the artists are generally not causing harm at a higher rate than normal drawings and normal people

its crazy to see people going on these anti-freaky art rants without a single ounce of non-hypothetical reasoning outside of "it feels wrong to me"
