I love seeing how people see the world around them.

I love this account.
No one likes to lose this big, but this was a fun moment. I can't wait to show my father-in-law.
I’ve discovered this is a fairly regular offering at our church after the service when we’re having tea. Maybe the most honest snack I’ve ever seen, and something I’d probably make myself in private at 11 pm when I’m a bit peckish and staring at the open fridge.
If you see this, post something orange from your gallery.

Two chickadees sit on a branch, one says: "Whoa! Look!" indicating a light in the sky over the horizon. The other one says: "Pretty!" The first one says "Do you think that's Venus or just a bright star?". The second one looks nervous, stumbling "Oh... uh... yeah it's probably Bemus"

Ok I’m ready for another Muppets episode
i don’t want my appliances to be smart or connect to the internet. i want them to do one mechanical task for 100 years
I think one thing I underestimated or didn't appreciate was how much, at times of incredible events, much of normal life would just sort of carry on.
After David Gunn retired from Amtrack, he moved to Cape Breton. I interviewed him once, and he sat in his dining room pouring over maps and marvelling at the many ways you could have travelled from Sydney to Halifax in 1900. Even if you just decided mid-day you wanted to go, you had so many options.

Son of Leamington here. The amount of miles I get out of “we had to drive NORTH to visit the US.“
Never thought I'd be sharing anything written by a Yankees fan, but this gets it absolutely right: www.pinstripealley.com/yankees-edit...

A fire hydrant
Look at our little guy!
A street scape on a snowy morning with a fire truck and smoke in the background and a fire hydrant in the foreground
This morning the fire department came to my street to put out an actual dumpster fire. They used the fire hydrant on our property, which was the first time it’s been used in the decade we’ve lived here. I was so proud of our little guy.
Baby Jacques.
