THANK YOUUU that means a lot coming from you! (I've been having fun seeing your half frame pics too btw!)

Thank you!!
Film! This is the Kodak Ektar H35N camera using Kodacolor 200 film. It's basically a toy, but since it takes half frame photos it lets you take twice as many pics, so it's a fun casual thing to carry around daily! (the quality is a little nicer than these, I resized down before posting)
I wish I could show my actual favorites but I do my best to avoid posting faces publicly these days ✌️😔
I took my little plastic half frame camera on a desert trip with friends, and I like how much it makes everything look the way a memory kind of feels

I had a lot of requests to make a wallpaper/print version of this drawing, so I tweaked things a bit and made a fun little lock-to-home transition! I'd love to make more like this when I can!

special visitor today
I was really so thrilled once I finally figured out what I was looking at LOL
Watched a red-banded hairstreak show off its false head/antennae! Before it started walking I was initially totally fooled. I'm no smarter than a spider
wait I loved the brave story novel as a teen wtf I need to play this
Seeing these photos is so fun, it keeps feeling like you're meeting my neighbors (btw whatever spider you two are looking for I hope you find it!)
buc-ee's is crazy because being in there is actually lowkey scary but the moment you leave it's like yay that was fun :)

I based this on the first plants I saw popping up as the weather changed! I wanted it to feel like carrying the first days of spring in your pocket 🌱 (it comes with versions without the cats too!)

plane landed and I glanced over and saw the guy next to me reading chainsaw man. I asked what he thought and he didn't even look at me he just said "it's terrible"

Oh wow, I've never seen this one! But my personal enemy is the Japanese honeysuckle, so I feel your pain lol
this is absolutely killing me
I'm in the southeast! We have incredible natural biodiversity, but that also lends itself to a lot of very, very hardy invasives. It's so interesting to hear what the biggest troublemakers are elsewhere!
yeah, it really feels strange how often I'll see a pretty little flower from afar, then once I get closer all the love drains straight out of my heart LOL
Japanese honeysuckle no contest (which is a shame because it's beautiful and smells so good!), but climbing fern and a million little groundcover species have been giving me a headache too 😭
I feel like the common perception of "rewilding your lawn" is that it's as easy as not maintaining it, but it turns out like 90% of what pops up is invasive and it's actually a lot of hard work to introduce the right things. anyway I've been crawling around on the ground a lot lately
I used to be really adamant that "there's no such thing as a weed," and I thought this was the ultimate environmentally conscious way to think. then I got access to a yard and now I'm a true weed hater
