After ~7 months of unemployment, happy to start a new role on Monday as Manager, Platform Engineering at Hyundai.

I spent 20 years in gaming right out of college, but constant layoffs, economic uncertainty, and just constantly awful discourse makes me kind of glad to start new.

Gladiator 2 was... ok? First movie rules, but Mescal doesn't have the gravitas that Crowe does and a lot of the "bad guys" feel under developed compared to Commodus in the first one as someone to root against.

Feels like there's another Ridley Scott director's cut in there.

Finished up the #BlackOps6 campaign! Haven't played a COD campaign in a decade, this was a fun one.

Really makes me want to play more, especially the Black Ops storyline.
