It is time to really speak up for democracy - even if it is only in our everyday circle. Indeed.
This is what I hear very often - so clearly only hearsay no scientific basic - that there is no real alternative because in the end the democratic parties end up in a coalition anyway. One of the reasons for the AFD success in the East.
Big problem also for a democracy if elections are not leading to “real change” it is a dilemma. A very dangerous one.
Real change is an illusion, Germany as many other European democracies reaches the era of negotiated coalitions between parties that in the past never really though to be working together. This is not encouraging. Further, there are quite a lot people turning to vote for AFD.
