Having lost both of my grandpas in the past couple of years, I absolutely believe this too. I wore my grandpa’s Mariners jacket to the playoffs last year and felt him there, somewhere and somehow.

In the last few years, I started reading this each Opening Day and sending an extra thought of the baseball lovers I’ve lost out into the universe. I’m not particularly religious, but it’s a way to feel like they can still come along on new seasons with us.
