Three scandal-plagued members of Congress have resigned in the past eight days. Florida Republican Rep. Cory Mills remains defiant.

Lincoln folks got redistricted to be in state leg districts with people who live by the Kansas and Missouri borders, like two hours away, further diminishing any representation for the city and it's actual interests
Boom!!! And with that, good morning!
The anti-human techno-fascist oligarchs who are racing to create AI superintelligence hate being human. They are genuinely some of the most miserable beings to ever walk this planet.
For our sake, and theirs, we can’t allow them to control our fate.
It is impossible to understate how weird these guys are.
Here’s the very simple truth. We should ban all Gerrymandering.
Until then, to unilaterally disarm is political suicide and malpractice.
happy Earth Day, and on this day in 1970 was first Earth Day.
Let us all seek to protect this blue marble that all living things here depend on. Mother Earth really does care for us and hold us in her hands. So also let us elect leaders who seek to protect our planet.
A reminder while Republicans bitch about Dems finishing the redistricting fight they started: they have full control of gov’t— they can pass a law banning gerrymandering any time they want. They won’t. Republicans aren’t mad gerrymandering exists; they’re mad that they’re not the only ones using it.
NEW REPUBLIC: “Where Did Millions in Funding Go?”
$63 MILLION companies paid in *settlements* to Trump appears to have vanished (into his pocket) and @SenWarren wants answers.

A win! A judge just blocked the Trump admin from strangling hundreds of wind and solar projects nationwide. Chief Judge Denise Casper issued a preliminary injunction, striking down a policy that required every wind and solar project to get personal sign-off from Interior Secretary Doug Burgum.
Honestly, PLEASE read his comments regarding humans and why it's okay to kill them off... slaves or terrorists... it doesn't matter to him... HE IS STEPHEN MILLER X 10. He's LARGE and in CHARGE of the information given to the DHS/ICE from his company Palantir. He spends billions on elections.
The publication Engadget said the post “reads like the ramblings of a comic book villain.
The ‘manifesto’ also predicted a future dominated by autonomous weapons.“The question is not whether AI weapons will be built; it is who will build them and for what purpose,” the Palantir post wrote.
Taxpayer-funded mass surveillance shouldn’t be used to increase the cruelty of Trump’s regime.
My colleagues and I demand answers about how Trump's masked ICE and Border Patrol agents use Palantir's tools to carry out his inhumane mass deportation agenda and monitor Americans.
I’ll support any Dem that moves to kick Palantir off the public dole and out of doing business with the US.
Meta is logging its workers’ every keystroke to train the AI that will replace them.
Extract what workers know. Model it. Cut the workers.
This is happening because governments are letting it happen. On this. On Palantir. On facial recognition.
Inaction is still a choice. And someone is making it.
I can’t remember: did Texas even hold a vote to amend their constitution to add their five Republican seats?
Thank GOD‼️

Of course. Senate Republicans released a budget blueprint that would clear the way for a filibuster-proof bill to provide up to $70 billion for ICE and Border Patrol bypassing Democrats who have refused to fund the agencies without immigration enforcement restrictions. #DefundICE

A New Jersey data center will reportedly receive $77 million in tax breaks — while only creating one permanent job.
One job, in exchange for higher utility bills, noise pollution, and potential groundwater pollution.
Is it any wonder communities are organizing to stop data centers?
The Trump administration, after shutting down a resettlement program for Afghans who aided U.S. forces, is now negotiating to relocate up to 1,100 of those individuals to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
RFK, Jr.: "It's amazing how quickly the flu spreads in crowded classrooms. It's a total mystery. No one knows why."
PETE HEGSETH: "It's a well known fact that the flue *can't* spread in a crowded submarine. Jesus said that. Or did I read it on the bottom of a beer bottle cap? Another mystery, man!"
Look at this chart.
Tax cuts for the rich are a policy choice. Cutting the social safety net in exchange for them is a policy choice.
States like New York have an opportunity to help undo this trickle down nonsense by raising taxes on the rich (who will still be rich).
I hope Gov. Hochul does.
GALLEGO: Earlier today, you told Sec. Kennedy that Trump never demanded you to cut interest rates. Is that your sworn testimony?
WARSH: That is, senator.
GALLEGO: Okay. Well someone here is lying then. Because Trump confirmed he pressed you on interest rate cuts.
Virginia! Today is the last day to vote in the redistricting referendum.

The Southern Poverty Law Center announced its under Justice Dept investigation targeted for its past use of paid informants to infiltrate extremist groups. Interim CEO Fair said in a video that the Trump administration has “made no secret of who they want to protect and who they want to destroy.”
