Also how about not getting involved in long running sagas of poaching sporting directors from other clubs, paying huge compensations and when they eventually do join, a few months later, decide nah, not the right man for the club.

Fully appreciate that books need balancing, but maybe instead of jacking up ticket prices to £66, getting rid of long serving staff, how about not giving managers new contracts and huge transfer kitty's and then sack them a few months later.
