This is maybe the weirdest draft I can remember in this respect. All of the truly elite talents in the draft, besides Mendoza, are at the least premium positions. Exceptional RB, off ball LB’s, Safety. Everybody’s mock drafts look like they’re from 1994 lol! Just draft the elite player.

From the team’s perspective though, what better way to solve the problem of all your best players being injured every single season than to spend big money on a 33 year old WR who has missed huge chunks of the past 2 seasons with injuries?
