i'd say, ask someone who has never played a game to download + navigate steam, EVEN IF they're interested in a specific game -- it's such a high barrier to entry! i had this experience with Thirsty Suitors over and over again -- people would love the concept & trailer but Steam was a huge impediment

The amount of 'realism' I want in a game is exactly as much as the art team behind that game intended. The lighting I want is the lighting the art team behind that game intended. The character appearance I want the way the art team intended.
