60 Layers on a stock base is insane. I had no idea it was that bad in the wild ~ I've pushed 30+ & felt that was already horrid.

Animator.layerCount being a metric/rank on avatars would probably be useful for casual users & it not being invisible would pressure creators to do better.

That wasn't what I was going for ~ If they're nuking your frames ofc hide. Problem is finding them at all in a sea of okay-ish-vpoors.

Can't hide all vpoors in casual hangouts so size limits is decent tool at catching these absurd Vpoors before they hit your frame time.

Perf rank has its flaws (eg: Can make a green ranked cpu nightmare with animators or vpoor due to +1 poly)

Vpoor is such a bottomless pit so outside clubs I rely on hiding by size limits instead. download 50 MB & uncompressed 150 MB catches most nightmare Vpoors.

I'd assume creators would add any tag that applies to their prop. (You can have to 16!) The universally generic ones having the highest importance while the more niche ones end up for bespoke setups. I've been doing senders on my props like this for a loooong time.
