I don’t think I’ve ever stayed with a story this long? In the past, I think I mostly just talked myself out of finishing anything because I didn’t want it to be bad (all my friends are always really good at writing, it’s intimidating in a way art isn’t).

1988 words so far today. Almost caught up to today’s goal. I kinda like the tendency to switch the POV in these stories (I’m in the twink BFF werewolf friend’s POV right now, and he’s fun so far).

The Terminator. I first saw it either on VHS or HBO, so I must have been 5 or so. Fell in love with Stan Winston’s work pretty early (fell in love with shit that scared me early on).
James and Lan have good news about Joe, but Joe still needs support to get through his long-term recovery. Again, if you're in a spot to do so and you're so moved, it'd help a lot.
Just took me 3hrs to remember the word “resting”.

Although, honestly, I don’t think my sharing more art would help me. I’m not sure what more I can do? I want to think it’s just that times are shitty and money’s tight (which it obviously is for everyone), but at a certain point you had to realize that you may just suck at art.
I can’t show a lot of commission work because I still haven’t recovered any data off my external hard drive yet. All the artwork I have is whatever was still in my phone or done for the zines that I hadn’t moved to the HD before it was corrupted.
So, what the hell is coaching for writers?
Above all, it's tailored to the needs of every individual writer--there's no one-size-fits-all summary.
It's one-on-one support, from troubleshooting a specific project, to body doubling, to addressing more complex issues like burnout. (cont'd)
Are you a writer looking to learn a new medium, recover from burnout, or bring joy back to your work?
I have a handful of current openings for coaching clients - if you're interested, shoot me an email at jay(dot)edidin(at)gmail(dot)com with the subject line COACHING QUERY!
Anyhow. I could use help getting my birds fed as most of my money went to medical bills. Reposts help!

What are you getting out of doing that to me?
I just need to know what goes through the mind of the person who literally sends me requests for money/commissions right after I post about how I have no money to feed my birds and I would love it if anyone would like to commission me/buy my zines so that I could do that.
Dan Stevens stars in THE TERROR: DEVIL IN SILVER, the new season of AMC's horror series.
Karyn Kusama directs.
The series premieres May 7 on AMC+ and Shudder.
I immediately see this as it being trained to herd humans, but then I’m wondering why it’s harassing wild animals like that? Are they a nuisance in urban areas and they need to be moved out for their/human safety? What happens when they figure out they don’t need to run from it?
You deserve an advocate with the clout to get shit done.
Here are some examples of what I’m offering for commissions right now - just portraits since I’m working on my iPad until UPS figures out where they delivered my tablet and XP-Pen decides if they want to send a replacement.
would like to have a wee little word with all the people who said everyone was overreacting to the california OS age signal legislation

*whew* today made me hate myself!
I don’t understand it and I wish they’d stop trying to make it news.
Always enjoy a portfolio day. Love to look at four exemplary pieces an artist really likes from their own catalogue. Love to hit the little heart and then the little sixty-nine-ing arrows.
Oh, no, wait. THIS is the title of my biography.
Employment jelly, repost for a job you'll love and deserve
Offer received and accepted, funemployment ends homies.
I release my employment jelly to the wild now, thank you friend.
If anything, this is the one organization that has been pretty fucking flagrant about its talent being replaceable as fuck.
Oh, is this why wrestling hasn’t been a thing since Rowdy Roddy Piper left? Wait, maybe it was over when The Rock and Bautista and Cena left to do acting? Or was it over when Ed "Strangler" Lewis retired because he went blind? When did wrestling stop cuz y’all have no “backups”?
I mean, it explains a lot.
Right? I don’t know if I can beat that particular part of this process (I still don’t have a title). 😂
This is a significant difference in numbers. 🤨
