The past week has been the worst and best of my life: all of my NIH grants were terminated, including active suicide prevention and eating disorder treatment clinical trials with lgbtq individuals. My first child was also born—trying to focus on the joy in a sea of utter devastation and cruelty

I think you’re spot on—and the cost of an institution’s indirect rate being restored will be a full commitment to the various executive orders (e.g., ending all DEI initiatives and research within that organization).Will institutions throw these programs and researchers under the bus for federal $?
