That last part makes me think about 'souping' film and just a little perplexed about the whole point if the photos are any good
That's impressive
It's very weird.
Took me a bit to get here but then, while not new to photography I got into the full DSLR game late (still haven't done anything with mirrorless).
But yeah - I GET IT AND while I'm miffed it took me this long, I probably wasn't ready for it before this spring.
This is trued, have lived, and it isn't as much of a gamble for someone my size 😉
usual: camera backpack open, twist lens off, plunk in there, transfer cap to back of lens, put next lens on, camera stays in hand.
more likely camera spinning as I took lens off, probably because I think that's how I usually do it with the big 150-450 unit.
Brants one in the middle flapping wings
More brants, the one I focused on is cleaning itself f3.2 ISO 200 1/4000 shutter 200mm (309 in FF equivalent)
Brants
It was cold and windy and few birds or scenes caught my eye on the commute in with the new lens.
Was unexpected to see shutter speeds so high, but then 2.8 is quite a bit faster than what I've been using.

Wait, that Y Mat isn't super light? I think most TLRs were kind of feather weights. (I'm just showing my full lack of hands on about all things MF)
And like all of Mass has the day off. Weird.
Well everyone probably except @iraceamtb.bsky.social
Guessing the medalist weighs a tiny bit more than the Y mat
No worries, I was wondering too. I think it was no lens because on the meta data on the raw file it said 85mm and k mount m lens. The last manual lens I had on there and I def did not have that one with me.
Might not be so impossible esp taking the focus off the shutter. No camera thinking 'hey you get no picture b/c can't focus'
no idea here what happened or how to describe this swirl and line on the right
Lens change photo?
Not sure. But usually I turn it off before swapping lenses this time I didn't and well maybe this was then?
Absolutely 100% in camera no edit or intention. But I think it is cool.
Thanks @behindthebluemotel.com
(Just switched the K3 over)
1000 meters away from me was the start and sure it's tiny and distorted as the light travels right over the surface of the sunlit water. The big Pentax 150-450 does perform pretty damn impressively
Well, let me say I'm now a big fan of the back button focus. Almost don't have to look for it now.
Why? Well now pretty much everything is at the desired focus with the K1
So much so that now I'm thinking I need to set the K3 up that way too.
1000 meters away:
Most excellent. Good spot too!
I just got a few more rolls of it because it has such a great feeling 400 iso all because of this
Thank you
It is at the end (bottom) of the 'your order has arrived email'
😁
Very happy with the order, well, I still have to fully test the lens but inside last night trying it looked good
Here we go. Fingers and toes crossed for the kid. I'm proud of thee team no matter how the results wind up but I'm anxious AF.
10 min to the start.
I'm at the 1/2 way (1000m) point on the course
Dogs are good for days like this. Take care Josh

Hey @usedphotopro.com I have issues with this 😉
Not really but come on guys
No idea why this hasn't worked on the 1st post.
It's all about FP4+ this week & the fantastic community on Bluesky #fp4party. (Thanks to @paulasmith.co.uk)

These look good like this. The 110 variants look like a better way to go with this film.
