It is absolutely wild that the guy who wonโ€™t stop yelling about law and order is now personally stepping in to keep January 6 documents hidden from the police officers who were attacked that day. He knows exactly whatโ€™s in those files and he is terrified the country will see it.

Todayโ€™s figures show real progress in our schools:

โœ… Record literacy and numeracy
โœ… Higher attendance
โœ… More teachers, with smaller class sizes

Huge credit to pupils and staff. We will keep driving improvement for every young person in Scotland.

Media framing is just despicable. But yes, it is good news.

Scottish nurse wins part of her tribunal in trans doctor changing room case Sandie Peggie wins harassment claim but tribunal dismisses allegations of discrimination and victimisation

Ignore the media framing, I think this is a glimmer of good news.

Why isn't non-dom status reclassified as a benefit? Then we could start cracking down on the real big league benefit scroungers.

New Home Office impact assessment finds that cutting skilled and social care visas will cost the UK up to ยฃ10 billion with a central estimate of -ยฃ5.4 billion.

It would be good if this got even a fraction of the coverage devoted to the endless debate about boats, flags and Turkish barber shops

A very good question. UKG can snoop on 22m bank accounts but not those who took what is basically a benefit during lockdown.

Two bigots desperately trying to turn a lose into a win!
Note, it isnโ€™t a win.

Sandie Peggie: Tribunal rules that employers do not have to exclude trans people | Good Law Project One of the first cases that follows the Supreme Courtโ€™s decision on the definition of sex under the Equality Act has found that the court didnโ€™t decide which changing room a trans person should use.

Not that you'd know it from the media coverage, which is almost entirely "Partial victory as Peggie wins on some procedural matters"

My top 5 beaches visited in 2025.
No. 2: Glencallum Bay, Isle of Bute.
Not the most attractive beach at first sight but the setting, the walk to get here and the well-placed lighthouse make this one extra special ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ

New Scottish Government statistics published today show that over the last year, the number of pupils in Scotlandโ€™s schools reaching expected levels of literacy and numeracy is at the highest level on record and the poverty-related attainment gap is at a record low.

Letโ€™s not forget that Tesco, Morrisons and B&Q returned some furlough monies.

I guess some of it has gone off shore, but youโ€™re right there will be records of who got paid what.
I think beyond recovery means weโ€™re not going to spend the money to take the fraudsters to account.
Mostly because it starts at the top!

I, for one, am seriously concerned that the PM has a โ€œstrong relationshipโ€ with Trump.

The media took a side, which turned out to be the losing side so are now making false headlines to cover their despicable bias.
Yes the woman won a harassment charge, but she started the harassment of colleagues first.
Big money got behind her to find Scotland Bad & Trans Bad!

My local hospital in Scotland has had ban on visitors for two weeks now.
OH has outpatient appointment tomorrow morning, mask at the ready, and I will wait in the car. Fortunately no parking charges at Scottish hospitals ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ

The media, both print and TV are powerful tools in the fight to keep Scotland in this union which is why Scotland is NOT ALLOWED to have it's own broadcasting, bias is rampant and unchallenged so the masses are fed a diet of skewed news stories to keep them compliant to the status quo.

We must #ChangeTheNarrative!

Dr Beth Upton was fully acquitted of all wrongdoing in yesterdayโ€™s Employment Tribunal decision. Yet she has been vilified by a toxic & poisonous media for months.
It must stop!

Congratulations, and solidarity, to you, Beth!
