The first photo is ten years ago, 2016/2026 photos and things have changed so very much. In the first selfie I I see is pain and unhappiness and now life is so much more happy and satisfying.

People will never understand the pain I went through before I earned the #peace I have now. I have a life I’m thankful for now and even though sometimes it still feels hard I know I’ve fought hard and earned my future.

After battling a lifetime I finally admitted that I needed to make a change and get #sober. Nearly five years ago now as mum my passed away I promised her and my wife I would stop #drinking and I did, not had a drink since.

I’m a grandfather now, I know that being #sober is my fight to fight and I’m so thankful for my #sobriety because it means I can always be trusted to be there for my family and not give them that worry.
